The trial in violence against journalists case and impeding their professional duty on July 5-6 in Tbilisi is underway at the Tbilisi City Court. Today, the court will question three witnesses, including two Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) journalists Ana Broladze and Ana Patsia.
Ana Broladze recalled the developments taking place in the vicinity of the Georgian parliament that day. The journalist said one person intentionally tried to hit her with a scooter and then rushed into the group of journalists working on the scene.
Ana Broladze also told the court how GPB cameraman Ilia Tvaliashvili was beaten, and Ana Patsia was also physically assaulted.
The far-right mob attacked fifty-three journalists, including GPB cameraman Ilia Tvaliashvili during the July 5 anti-Tbilisi Pride rally in Tbilisi.
