The Second International Film Festival was held in Mestia, Svaneti, with the participation of approximately 80 film directors presenting 22 films from different countries.

The special jury revealed the winners. First Channel of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) awarded GEL 5 000 for the best female director of the Pitching Forum festival and awarded Ana Kvichidze.

The Watchers was co-produced by the GPB and was premiered one month ago on the GPB First Channel.

GPB Director-General, Tinatin Berdzenishvili said that TV viewers would have the opportunity to watch the nominated and winner films on the First Channel.

“We are there where the Georgian documentary and feature films are. This time, we have the honor to be the supporters of the Svaneti International Film Festival where we revealed the Pitching Forum winner and awarded GEL 5 000 to the female director. It is important that all the winner and nominee films will be broadcasted on First Channel, So, stay with us,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.

Pitching Forum is an international film financing and co-production event focused on the facilitation, development, and financing of film projects.
