Gov’t to speed up land registration process

The government will speed up land registration process across Georgia, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced during the presentation of lands systematic registration reform.

The project will take 3 years It will comprise 59 municipalities, over 1 thousand administrative unites and 4 thousand settlements with the exception of self-governance cities and occupied territories.

Approximately 1 200 000 hectares of land will be registered and handed over in private ownership. Registered land plots will be measured and for data precision.
