“There will be a peaceful protest tomorrow. We must create discomfort for the Georgian Dream,” leader of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli party Giorgi Vashadze told journalists.
“Our teammates will be at the Parliament during this protest. It will be a peaceful protest. Unfortunately, the Georgian Dream will not take any concrete steps until we start such actions. We have to create discomfort,” said Giorgi Vashadze.
Picketing of the government buildings will be without physical resistance and blockade, one of the leaders of the European Georgia party Giga Bokeria confirmed. He said there is no task to meddle physically. He noted that the opposition is going through a step-by-step protest.
The opposition said at a rally on February 26 that they would start picketing government buildings on March 2. The opposition announced the picket on Tuesday morning in front of the parliament building.
