Government launches paid internship scheme across public sector offering over 3,000 vacancies for students and graduates
“A paid internship programme offering over 3,000 vacancies across public sector bodies has been launched following a decision by the Prime Minister,” announced Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Government Administration of Georgia.
He highlighted that the scheme enables students to put their academic training into practice, laying a firm foundation for their future career progression.
“This programme holds significant value for students broadly, including final-year undergraduates, master’s students, and recent bachelor’s and master’s graduates. It allows them to translate the theoretical knowledge acquired in higher education into practical application, gaining hands-on experience and professional skills that are essential for their future career development,” Zhorzholiani noted.
