Government Administration: Government receives historic maximum of 61 of 100% in Good Government Index

The Georgian government has reached a historic high, 61 from 100 per cent in the Chandler Good Government Index,” said Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Government Administration.

According to Levan Zhorzholiani, the Georgian government ranked 12th place in Transparency, 27th place in Quality of Judiciary, 25th place in Quality of Bureaucracy, and 4th place in Attracting Investments.

Zhorzholiani said the data was published by the European Commission based on surveys and calculations from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the International Economic Forum and other international organizations.

The Government Administration further reported that Georgia ranked high in the following indicators: Long-term Vision – 16th, Stable Business Regulations – 15th, Adaptability – 11th.

The Chandler Good Government Index (CGGI) measures government capabilities across 113 countries or roughly 90% of the world’s population.
