“Marta Kos only turns her attention to Georgia when attempting to funnel opaque money into the country and channel those funds to the collective United National Movement and its affiliated NGO network,” Chairman of the Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee, MP Archil Gorduladze, declared.

He further noted that the Georgian public has become habituated to claims that defy both geography and basic cartographic facts.

“All of this serves a clear political objective: to tarnish the democratic choice of the Georgian public. They hold no respect for the choice made by the Georgian people. All the while, they claim to be fighting for democracy and safeguarding democratic values. Yet the primary source of democracy is the people themselves; when you position yourself against the electorate and lend support to an overthrow, what does that say about your adherence to European ideals or democracy? Such statements say far more about those making them than they do about the reality on the ground in our country,” Archil Gorduladze stated.
