The Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) reported that the electricity cost for residential consumers in the country would not change.
The GNERC echoed the information spread by some politicians on an allegedly planned electricity tariff growth.
“The Commission presumes that the released misinformation serves to impede the energy market liberalization process,” the GNERC said in a statement.
The GNERC reiterated that the innovations in the electricity market planned from July 1 are not related to electricity tariffs.
