Girchi's Rakviashvili: No real unity among so-called pro-Western parties
“There is no unity. The urgency for unity is a mere illusion. It is evident that parties led by different individuals cannot come together, as each leader is driven by their own ego,” stated Aleksandre Rakviashvili, one of the leaders of the Girchi party.
According to Rakviashvili, voters must recognize that they made a mistake when they supported these so-called pro-Western parties.
“Why did these so-called pro-Western parties, with electoral ratings of 4, 5, 9, and 25, mislead their constituents by claiming strong coordination with Salome Zourabichvili’s leadership, while simultaneously criticizing one another behind the scenes? This is their responsibility. Voters should acknowledge that they erred in supporting these parties without giving it proper thought.
The term ‘coordination’ has lost its meaning; they use it to speak without substance. When they claim to coordinate or maintain communication, those words have been devalued and signify nothing. I doubt these phrases hold any real significance. They are simply at a loss about what to do, yet they refuse to admit it openly,” he remarked.
