Giorgi Margebadze responds to allegations by Journalist Gela Mtivlishvili

Giorgi Margebadze, head of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Hydropower Plants, has responded on social media to allegations made by journalist Gela Mtivlishvili regarding an alleged assault.

“The broadcast ended; you provoked me, I insulted both of you, and moved to strike me — I hit you first.

Hydropower plants? Yes! As many hydropower plants as possible for the success of our country!!!” Margebadze wrote on social media.

Earlier, Mtivlishvili stated that he had been attacked after leaving a live broadcast. According to the journalist, he suffered facial injuries during the incident and reported the assault to the police.
