Journalist Gela Mtivlishvili claims assault, reports incident to Police
Journalist Gela Mtivlishvili says he was physically attacked after leaving a live broadcast.
According to a post published by the journalist on social media, he sustained facial injuries during the incident and subsequently contacted the police.
“After leaving the live broadcast, I was attacked by Margebadze, a lobbyist for hydroelectric power projects associated with Georgian Dream. My face was injured, and I reported the incident to the police. He will be held accountable!” Gela Mtivlishvili wrote on social media.
