Giorgi Kvirikashvili: Freedom House should think carefully when releasing biased information and evaluations on the quality of democracy in Georgia

The assessment of Freedom House is extremely inadequate, it is based on absolutely unbalanced information, – the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili told journalists.

As Kvirikashvili noted, Freedom House should think carefully when releasing biased information and evaluations regarding the quality of democracy in Georgia.

“After 2012, when the Georgian Dream came to power headed by Bidzina Ivanishvili, and since then several Prime Ministers have changed, but the main trend that has been established in the country is striving to high level of democracy, including active non-governmental sector, completely different level of media freedom, and significantly different situation with regard to protection of human rights” – Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
