German increases financial aid for the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package 

German increases financial aid for the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP). The German Embassy to Tbilisi released this information.

According to Embassy, On December 7, Permanent Representative of Germany to NATO Hans-Dieter Lucas pledged to allocate further financial support in the amount of EUR 500,000 for SNGP projects in Georgia.

“Germany once again underlines the importance of Substantial NATO-Georgia Package, which is funded by NATO partners on voluntary contributions, as there are no special budget funds in NATO. Germany will continue to support actively Georgia with financial resources as well as personnel on its path to NATO”.

In addition, as noted in the information, in 2016 and 2017, Germany had already allocated 500,000 Euros twice for Defence Institution Building School and other SNGP projects, including Krtsanisi National Training Center.
