German FM says Georgia, Moldova, Western Balkans should have prospects of joining EU

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock says Ukraine will strengthen the EU in the near future. She believes Georgia, Moldova and the Western Balkans should have the prospects of joining the EU.

In her address to Alliance 90/The Greens’ Congress, Baerbock said: “Ukraine joining [the EU] is in our geopolitical interests. The so-called grey zones should no longer be in Europe.
