GeoStat updates labour force statistics methodology

Georgia’s National Statistics Office (Geostat) updated the labour force statistics methodology on Monday.

GeoStat’s Labour Force Survey questionnaires fully correspond with the International Labor Organization (ILO) standards.

“Geostat can publish employment and unemployment indicators, other labour markets indexes that are widely used in EU countries. The EU Twinning project helped GeoStat evaluate and analyze data quality,” the Twinning project RTA, Steen Pedersen, said.
