Georgia’s representative to NATO presents credentials to NATO Secretary General

Irakli Beraia, the Georgian representative to NATO, met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Beraia formally presented his credentials to the Secretary General of the Alliance.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed NATO-Georgia cooperation.

The Georgian representative emphasised the importance of Georgia’s role in regional security and conveyed his gratitude for NATO’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Mark Rutte congratulated Irakli Beraia on his appointment as the Georgian representative and wished him success in his endeavours,” the ministry added in a statement.
