Georgia’s FM meets South Korean Parliamentary Foreign Affairs delegation to discuss visa-free travel and trade expansion

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili has met with Song Seog-jun, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and members of the parliamentary delegation currently on an official visit to Georgia.

According to the Foreign Ministry’s press service, the meeting focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and the Republic of Korea, and prospects for their future expansion.

“Discussions centred on key issues in bilateral relations and prospects for deepening trade and economic cooperation. Both sides highlighted the strategic importance of establishing direct flights and implementing a visa-free travel regime to reinforce ties between the two nations.

The dialogue also addressed the value of high-level exchange visits in further solidifying relations between Georgia and the Republic of Korea,” the press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
