Georgia's Ambassador to U.S. meets with U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, held a meeting with U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R), who represents the state of Florida.

One of the youngest female Republican leaders, Congresswoman Luna serves on the House Foreign Affairs and Oversight Committees and chairs the task force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets. It is also noteworthy that Congresswoman Luna is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

According to the Georgian Embassy in the United States, the parties discussed the bilateral relations, prospects of their further development and new opportunities within the framework of the meeting.

The discussion also touched upon current and evolving geopolitical developments on the international level. The importance of protecting sovereignty, implementing appropriate immigration policies, building energy independence and the significance of global peace policies were also highlighted.
