Georgia's Ambassador Maisuradze addresses OSCE Permanent Council at special meeting
Aleksandre Maisuradze, Ambassador and Chargé d’Affaires at the Permanent Representation of Georgia to the OSCE and other International Organizations in Vienna, participated in a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maisuradze discussed the involvement and observation of OSCE institutions in the Georgian parliamentary elections.
He noted that on December 20, 2024, the Georgian delegation provided comprehensive responses to questions posed by 38 member states concerning recent developments in Georgia, current political processes, and ongoing protests. He expressed hope that OSCE institutions would objectively assess the situation.
“Georgia remains committed to contributing constructively to the OSCE’s efforts in upholding international law, peace, security, and human rights,” he stated.
