Georgia's action plan in line with regional challenges

“De-occupation is one of the key priorities of Georgia’s foreign policy, reflected in the recent Foreign Policy Resolution,” Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani told GPB on Wednesday.

“Georgia’s main action plan is in line with the new challenges and realities in the region,” Zalkaliani noted.

“Our problem de-occupation should not be considered as the Russian-Georgian conflict only. Georgia’s action plan aims to benefit from all key international formats. The political pretext of the crucial Geneva International Discussions (GID) should strengthen. Therefore, we will do our best to prioritize the occupation of Georgian territories by Russia on the international agenda. The partners’ consolidation plays a huge role in putting constant pressure on Russia to fulfill its international obligation under the 2008 ceasefire agreement,” Georgian FM stressed.
