Georgian wines presented at China Food & Drinks Fair

The 108th China Food & Drinks Fair was held in Chengdu, China. Twenty-one Georgian companies participated with the support of the National Wine Agency.

The Agency highlighted the significance of being present at a major trade fair to promote and enhance the export of Georgian wine, especially in China, which ranks among the top 5 countries that Georgia exports to.

Within the framework of the 3-day event, representatives of Georgian companies met partners and potential importers. Paata Kalandadze, Georgia’s Ambassador to China, attended the event.

The China Food & Drinks Fair has been held since 1995. Thousands of wine producers and approximately one million visitors attend the event annually.

For the popularization of Georgian wines, the Georgian Wine Agency has cooperated with the Chinese marketing Company Meiburg Wine Media since 2013.
