Georgian Railway: Passenger trains running without disruption on Imereti-Guria section

Passenger trains are currently running without disruption on the Imereti-Guria section, the Georgian Railway reported.

According to Georgian Railway, there was a temporary disruption to the passenger train timetable due to severe meteorological conditions. However, as a result of the prompt response by the relevant services of Georgian Railway, the schedule for all trains has now been restored.

“According to forecasters’ predictions, the difficult meteorological conditions are continuing. In view of the current situation, all relevant services of Georgian Railway have been placed on enhanced operational alert,” the statement reads.
