Georgian President to attend state funeral of King Harald V of Norway

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by First Lady Tamar Bagrationi, will travel to Norway to attend the state funeral of His Majesty King Harald V.

According to the President’s Office, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili will join world leaders and members of foreign royal families to pay tribute to the late Norwegian monarch.

King Harald V reigned over the Kingdom of Norway for 35 years following his accession in 1991. His reign spanned an era of significant political and social transformation in modern Norwegian history.
