The strategy of the Georgian government is to make Georgia a center of the region in business, trade, finance, logistics, and tourism and education spheres – Mamuka Bakhtadze, Georgian Prime Minister said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
According to PM’s Press Service, Bakhtadze responded to questions of German leading media outlets within the framework of his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
“If we look at the map, Georgia naturally is the candidate to become a center of the region. We are the gate to the sea for eight countries. . . . We are trying to carry out creative reforms to attract more investments. We consider our country as being a bridge from Asia to Europe and we want to contribute to the growing trade turnover,” Bakhtadze stated.
