Georgian President congratulates Muslims on Ramazan Bayrami

President Salome Zourabichvili congratulated Georgia’s Muslim community on Ramazan Bayrami.

In her congratulatory message, President said Ramazan Bayrami marks the end of the fasting month, and Mulims now rejoice in reconciliation, unity and charity.

“These values are joint for Georgia’s diverse society and represent the solid foundation of our country’s centuries-long tradition of tolerance and mutual respect,” she said.

Muslim world celebrates Ramazan Bayrami starting today. Ramazan Bayrami marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Muslims around the world will be celebrating the holiday for three days.
