Georgian President addresses inaugural UN Artificial Intelligence Management global dialogue
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili addressed the inaugural UN Artificial Intelligence Management global dialogue in Geneva.
According to the Presidential Administration, President Kavelashvili emphasized the importance of international cooperation and effective global governance amid the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
He said that artificial intelligence represents not only technological progress but a significant political and social challenge requiring a coordinated approach of the international community.
Mikheil Kavelashvili noted that the development of artificial intelligence should be based on respect for human dignity, fundamental rights and the principle of national sovereignty.
“President of Georgia touched on the potential of artificial intelligence to advance science, healthcare, education, and innovation, noting that harnessing these opportunities fully is possible only through broad cooperation.
At the end of the speech, Mikheil Kavelashvili said that participation in a global dialogue format is important for Georgia since it contributes to the development of inclusive cooperation over artificial intelligence,” the Presidential Administration said.
