Georgian PM's official visit in Uzbekistan begins

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has begun his official visit in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistani PM Abdulla Aripov, Deputy PM Djamshid Kuchkarov and Mayor of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov hosted the Georgian PM at the airport.

Within the framework of his visit, the PM will meet President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistani PM Abdulla Aripov, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber and Chairman of the Senate.

The 10th inter-government meeting of Georgia-Uzbekistan economic cooperation will be held in Tashkent.

The PM-led Georgian delegation comprises First Vice Speaker/ Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Davit Songhulashvili, Sports Minister Shalva Gogoladze and Government Administration Head Levan Zhorzholiani.
