Georgian PM: Transparency to approximate us with attainment of EU integration
Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, stated on Wednesday that the Draft Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence “first and foremost aims to safeguard Georgia from Ukrainization by solidifying our sovereignty and ensuring a stable development of our country, which is a prerequisite of Georgia’s integration into the EU.”
The PM noted that “Avoidance of Ukrainization is an essential precondition for the integration of Georgia into the EU and a prime goal of the given draft law.”
“Hence, it may not distance Georgia from Europe, but rather essentially approximate us with the main goal of our foreign policy – the attainment of EU integration. It is a very vital prerequisite of EU integration,” the PM asserted.
