Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will address the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
According to Davit Bakradze, Georgian Permanent Representative in the UN, the PM and the Georgian delegation members will hold high-level meetings and participate in the general debates and the summit dedicated to sustainable development.
“The situation in the region and occupied regions of Georgia, facing challenges, the progress that Georgia made in reforms implementation and goals to achieve sustainable development will be discussed at the bilateral meetings,” Bakradze said.
Accompanied by a delegation, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili departed for the United States on September 16.
