Georgian PM states next parliamentary elections to be held in 2024

The next parliamentary elections will be held in 2024. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at a joint with EU representatives press conference after the EU-Georgia Association Council meeting in Brussels.

PM accented that all international organizations and international observers acknowledged that these elections were competitive, free and fair.

“As for early elections, it is not my prerogative to decide the date for the next elections. All the international organizations, the OSCE, ODIHR, all the international observers recognized that these elections were competitive, free and fair. The next parliamentary elections will be held in 2024,” Irakli Gharibashvili said.
