Georgian PM meets President of Uzbekistan

Cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport and logistics and the importance of activation in trade and economic spheres were the main issues discussed at the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili and President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the PM, Georgia considers Uzbekistan not only as an important and reliable partner, but also as a friend.

The conversation touched on the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the economy and in various fields, and emphasized the positive dynamics of bilateral trade turnover.

Willingness to further deepen existing cooperation was expressed. Irakli Gharibashvili thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his steadfast support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
