Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili on Wednesday met with the French Ambassador to Georgia, Sheraz Gasri.
According to the government’s press service, the pair discussed Georgia-France relations and the prospects of future cooperation.
The PM mentioned France as “a friend and dependable partner” of Georgia. He expressed his gratitude to the French ambassador for France’s steadfast support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
“The meeting emphasized the importance of France’s support for Georgia’s integration into the European Union and NATO. It was noted that Georgia will continue to uphold European values and play a constructive role in supporting peace and stability in the region,” reads the statement.
