Georgian PM meets Baku Mayor

Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili met Baku Mayor, Eldar Azizov on Saturday.

The conversation revolved around the key directions of the close cooperation between the two countries. The sides pointed out that Georgia and Azerbaijan have a good track record of dialogue, friendship, and cooperation, which has brought about a solid strategic partnership.

The Prime Minister underlined that deepening regional cooperation is in the interests of both countries. According to the Head of Government, Georgia, as a reliable partner, will continue making a significant contribution to the implementation and development of joint projects.

The conversation touched on the regional and global security situation. The importance of peaceful conflict resolution was emphasized.
