Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov on Monday.
According to the government press office, the parties reviewed the two nations’ strategic partnership as well as the cooperation agenda.
The conversation touched on the importance of ensuring peace and stability for the well-being of the people and the region’s development.
The Prime Minister stated once more that Georgia is ready to promote the dialogue between the two neighbouring countries in every way feasible.
The PM’s Neighborhood Peaceful Initiative in the South Caucasus was also highlighted.
Garibashvili thanked Azerbaijan for its unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
