Georgian Patriarchate says it merges from violence containing statements
The Georgian Patriarchate calls on church persons to abstain from organizing briefings and making non-agreed statements.
“The latest events in connection with the so-called Tbilisi Pride turned the situation to the tense in the country. The Patriarchate has already fixed its negative attitude.
We understand the emotional background but violence containing statements are unacceptable and we merge from them made either by church persons or the parish,” reads the statement.
