Georgian parliamentary delegation pays a working visit to Azerbaijan

Georgian parliamentary delegation comprising Regional Policy and Self-Governance Committee Chair Irakli Kadagishvili; Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee Chair Givi Mikanadze; and Committee Deputy Chairman Paata Salia paid a working visit to Azerbaijan.

The delegation members met Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan. The Speaker congratulated Georgian MPs on winning the October 26 parliamentary elections. She stressed the significance of deepening cooperation between the Georgian and Azerbaijani parliaments.

Givi Mikanadze invited Azerbaijani lawmakers with an official visit in early 2025. The Azerbaijani delegation will comprise the chairmen of committees.

Zurab Pataradze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan attended the meetings.
