Georgian parliamentary delegation engages in NATO PA ESC meeting
The Georgian parliamentary delegation participated in the meeting of the Economics and Security Committee (ESC) of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which engaged in reviewing the Black Sea region’s security and economic challenges.
The delegation head, Givi Mikanadze, addressed the Committee members, highlighting regional peace and security, Georgia’s accomplishment in economic progress amid occupation and the region’s complex security environment. He spoke about Georgia’s efforts to observe the international sanctions imposed by the West on Russia.
Givi Mikanadze presented several amendments to the ESC members, which concern Georgia’s role in the security of the Black Sea region and fact-based assessments.
