Georgian national rugby team defeats Russia, wins Rugby Europe Championship
Georgia’s national rugby team has defeated Russia in the Rugby Europe Championship in the Georgian capital Tbilisi on Sunday.
Georgian ‘Lelos’ defeated Russia with 16 to 7.

Russian Rugby Team congratulated the Lelos on their victory. “Thanks for the hospitality and we look forward to doing this again with your passionate fans back in attendance,” Russian Rugby tweeted.
The game was postponed twice during 2020 due to a pandemic.
