Georgian MPs meet Swedish colleagues in Stockholm

The Georgian parliamentary delegation members met their colleagues from the Swedish parliament in Stockholm.

Chairperson of the parliamentary European Integration Committee Maka Botchorishvili, Chair of the Defense and Security Committee Irakli Beraia and deputy chairpersons of the two committees participated in the meeting.

European security challenges, Georgia’s EU integration process, steps taken in fulfilment of the EC-proposed recommendations and Georgia’s role in the EU energy security through the Black Sea underwater electric cable project were discussed at the meeting.

The support of Sweden, as a chairman country of the EU, to Georgia’s European perspective was highlighted.
