Georgian Military Police awarded NATO Military Multinational Battalion partner status

A partnership agreement has been virtually signed between the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and the NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion (MNMPBAT) on Monday.

The partnership aims to prepare the Military Police Platoon for the full MNMPBAT membership (Participant Status) by the end of 2022,” Georgian Defence Ministry noted.

“This agreement clearly shows the presence of more NATO in Georgia. It will further strengthen the military police capabilities and deepen NATO compatibility,” the Ministry stressed in a statement.
