Georgian Foreign Ministry delegation attends 55th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders’ Meeting as special guest

A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, led by Deputy Minister Alexandre Khvtisiashvili, has participated as a special guest in the 55th Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Leaders’ Meeting.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the high-level annual summit focused on regional sustainable development, security, and climate change resilience.

On the sidelines of the summit, the Georgian delegation held bilateral talks with the Secretary-General of the Pacific Islands Forum, Baron Waqa, the President of the Republic of Palau, Surangel Whipps Jr., and the President of the Republic of Nauru, David Adeang.
