Georgian FM meets with Chairman of Armenia’s Foreign Relations Committee

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili hosted Sargis Khandanyan, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the National Assembly of Armenia, alongside his delegation, who are paying a visit to Georgia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides highlighted the positive development of the multifaceted strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia, as well as the prospects for further expanding bilateral cooperation.

“Special emphasis was placed on the significant role of parliamentary diplomacy. The active momentum of high-level visits was also acknowledged, reflecting positive trends in the current bilateral agenda.

The importance of establishing enduring peace and stability in the region was underscored, along with Georgia’s readiness to contribute to strengthening security, fostering cooperation, and promoting development across the region,” the Ministry’s press service stated.
