Georgian FM meets with Albanian Foreign Minister at the OSCE Ministerial

Within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Elisa Spiropali, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions focused on bilateral cooperation and the prospects for deepening relations across various spheres, both bilaterally and within the broader context of the Western Balkans region.

The talks also highlighted shared ambitions for European Union integration and the importance of exchanging experiences in this regard.

During the meeting, Minister Botchorishvili drew attention to Russia’s illegal occupation of Georgian territories.

She also congratulated her Albanian counterpart on her appointment and extended an invitation to visit Georgia.
