'Georgian Dream' to name presidential candidate for the second half of summer

According to the Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze, the Georgian Dream party will name the presidential candidate in July or August.

As Kobakhidze told journalists, nominating the Presidential candidate is too early at this stage.

“The presidential candidate is expected to be nominated in the second half of summer, in July-August”, – he said.

Kobakhidze said that preliminary consultations are already launched in the team regarding the presidential candidate.

Presidential Elections will be held in October.
