Georgian Deputy FM: Russia shows no sign of starting discussion on IDPs' issues

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Lasha Darsalia, on Wednesday, said the Russian Federation “shows no signs” of starting a discussion on the issue of the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) which is a “central theme” of the six-point agreement, along with security issues.

Darsalia echoed the Russian delegation’s move to quit the Geneva International Discussions (GID) again while discussing the issue of IDPs.

“Any progress in the Geneva process can only be considered by moving forward on these issues. Therefore, sooner or later, these issues will be resolved,” Darsalia asserted.
