Georgian Defence Forces Chief participates in NATO Military Committee meeting
The Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, participated in the 192nd NATO Military Committee meeting chaired by Admiral Rob Bauer.
During the meeting, Giorgi Matiashvili presented the Didgori Cross Medal to Admiral Bauer in recognition of his significant contributions to NATO-Georgia military cooperation.
Matiashvili also held a bilateral meeting with the newly elected Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Cavo Dragone, congratulating him on his appointment and wishing him success in his new role.
Additionally, the Commander of the Defence Forces of Georgia engaged in bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts at NATO headquarters, where they discussed current issues of cooperation in the defence sector.
