Georgian Communists mark Stalin's birthday in Gori

Members of the Georgian Communist Party and the Stalinist Society gathered in Joseph Stalin’s hometown of Gori on Monday to celebrate the 141st birthday of the Soviet leader.
Stalin supporters laid flowers at Stalin’s monument and demanded the Stalin Statue on Gori’s main square to be immediately restored.
The Georgian government took the monument down on June 21, 2010.
