Georgian citizens illegally detained by occupation forces released

Tamaz Etsadashvili, Otar Terashvili, and Valery Giunashvili, who were illegally detained in the occupied territory adjacent to the villages of Zemo Artsevi and Otrevi, have been released, the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) reported on Friday.

According to the body, the hotline operated by the EU Monitoring Mission had been activated and International partners and the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions were alerted of the incident.

The SSSG underscored that the responsibility for all destructive acts committed in the occupied territories of Georgia and along the occupation line lies with the occupying power.
