Georgian and Turkish Police Academies sign memorandum on academic cooperation
As part of the official visit to Georgia by the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Çiftçi, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on educational and academic cooperation was signed between the Public Safety and Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Turkish National Police Academy.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs released official details regarding the accord.
The heads of the respective academies, Giorgi Sahokia and Murat Balcı, have formally signed the document.
“The memorandum aims to foster bilateral cooperation across training, educational, and scientific fields, as well as to facilitate the exchange of professional expertise.
“This agreement will support the deepening of collaboration between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Republic of Türkiye in the field of police education,” the Ministry statement noted.
