Georgian and Azerbaijani PMs meet in Baku

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ali Asadov, in Baku.

At the meeting, the two PMs spoke about strategic partnership main trends and successful cooperation in multilateral formats.

Ali Asadov congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment as the PM and underscored the significance of his first official visit to Baku.

The PMs touched on regional projects, among them the Middle Corridor, trade-economic relations, and constructive dialogue for regional peace and stability. Irakli Kobakhidze invited Ali Asadov to Georgia.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze pays an official visit to Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the visit, the PM will hold face-to-face and expanded meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The Georgian delegation will pay tribute to the National Hero Heydar Aliyev and lay a wreath at his memorial.

The Georgian delegation, led by PM Irakli Kobakhidze, comprises First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili and Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili.
